We Welcome Visitors

Our club welcomes visitors and vacationers visiting Parksville to join us at the Parksville Community Park if you meet the following requirements:

  • Pickleball player icon in orange
    The capacity of the courts (40) has not been exceeded.
  • Green pickleball icon
    You are a member of Pickleball Canada
  • Pickleball player icon in red
    You are age 55+ (There is a neighbouring club at the Lacrosse courts that welcomes all ages participants)
  • Light orange pickleball icon
    You have not exceeded the number of “free days”. (As a guest you can join us for three free days. After the third free day you must register on the Pickleball Canada website and join Oceanside Pickleball Club.)

Every year, Oceanside Pickleball organizes several drill sessions for our 3.0 to 4.5 rated members. Participants of like abilities are grouped for a successful drill session so they can sharpen their playing skills.
Our club provides group lessons to beginners at the start of the season free of charge. This six-lesson package will cover the basics and prepare you to join in the Open play sessions that take place every morning. Beginner lessons will take place starting May 5 on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:30 am.
Our club provides group lessons to Intermediate Players, free of charge, in May of each year. The purpose of these lessons is to help to develop the skills of those players who are at the 3.0 level. These lessons will take place in May. Days and times TBD.
